English Congregation -

Our English congregation is a dynamic mix of people from different ethnic backgrounds.  Every time we gather on Sunday mornings to worship, we are somehow changed.  Having entered together into God’s presence, we find ourselves encouraged, strengthened, inspired, challenged, and even healed.  Our contemporary worship involves singing, scripture, prayer, interpretive worship, drama, testimonies and multimedia – not to mention powerful preaching of the Word of God.  Our focus is to worship the Lord and lift up the name of Jesus in our midst.  As God’s people we minister to Him in worship, and He ministers powerfully to us in return. 

We welcome you to join us; it would be a privilege for us to share our worship with you.  You are important to us because God cares for you.

Nursery care for young children is available during the worship service.  A fellowship lunch is served for those who are able to stay after the service.

    Filipino Congregation -

    Service Time: Sunday, 11:30 a.m.

    Our Filipino congregation is predominantly composed of Filipinos but has an international flavor with other Asians, Caucasians, Carribeans and other nationalities in joyful attendance.  English is the main language used in worship service, Bible studies, and social fellowships.

    Spanish Congregation-

    Service Time: Sunday, 5 p.m. - Pastor Edgardo Ghidella

    Weekly Schedule:

    1) Bible Study & Prayer Meeting - Thursdays at  7:30pm, Fellowship Hall D
    2) Single Adults Fellowship on Saturdays, at 7:30pm, led by Jaime Suescun, Fellowship Hall.
    3) "Cafe Confe" Evangelistic Activites/Outings on Saturdays at 7:30AM. See Pastor Edgardo for details.
    4) Spnish Women's Fellowship Ministry - every last Saturday of the month at 7:30pm, led by Elizabeth Ghidella.
    5) Spanish Youth/ Teens (13-18 years old) Ministry - meets every 3rd Saturday of the month, led by Otto Diaz Jr.
    6) Spanish Adult & Teens Sunday School - every Sunday after the worship service, at 7:pm, in the church bldg.

    EL MINISTERIO HISPANO de "Queens Christian Alliance Church (QCAC)"
    comenzó el 31 de mayo de 1998. Esta obra es la visión del Pastor Decano, Daniel Ho. Un siervo de Dios con una misión de alcanzar los diferentes grupos étnicos de la cuidad de NY. Después de haber orado por un tiempo, Dios empezó a obrar, a usar personas y abrir puertas. Mientras que en Argentina, había una joven pareja la cual se había preparado en materias de Teología y era su deseo de trabajar en un ministerio. Edgardo y Elizabeth Ghidella habían sentido el llamado y consagrado sus vidas para la obra de Dios a tiempo completo donde Él le dirigiese. Fue entonces que el Señor empezó a mover circunstancias a su alrededor para indicarles el próximo paso a a seguir. Dios empezó a usar siervos cuyos corazones estaban dispuestos a trabajar para Él y que por fe seguirían la visión dada.
    Hoy en día podemos ver las bendiciones y todo lo que ha hecho el Señor en el Ministerio Hispano de QCAC. Almas han dado su vida a Cristo, personas han reafirmado su fe en Él. Nuevas actividades se han incorporado para suplir las necesidades de cada inidividuo y personas han tenido la oportunidad de recibir el mensaje de salvación. Sin embargo, aún la tarea es extensa y ardua. Estamos orando por toda la comunidad hispana de Flushing y áreas vecinas. Es nuestra oración, meta y deseo de que Mateo 28:19 sea una realidad en QCAC: que el evangelio llegue y sea predicado de manera sencilla y directa a todas las personas de diferentes nacionalidades, culturas e idiomas. No tenemos que ir muy lejos: tenemos los peces, solo necesitamos suficientes manos para sostener la red y traerla ante Jesús. Pedimos que nos apoyen con sus oraciones.

    "Asimismo el reino de los cielos es semejante a una red, que echada en el
    mar, recoge de toda clase de peces; y una vez llena, la sacan a la orilla. "

    THE SPANISH MINISTRY of Queens Christian Alliance Church began on May 31, 1998. This work is the vision of the Senior Pastor, Daniel Ho. A servant of God whose mission is to reach the different ethnic groups of NYC. After praying for some time, God began to work using people and opening doors. In Argentina, there was a young couple graduated of Theology, and longing to work in ministry. Edgardo and Elizabeth Ghidella felt the call and consecrated their lives to work full time in a ministry where God would direct them. It was then that the Lord began to move in areas of their lives and indicated to them the next step to be followed. God began to use servants whose hearts were willing to work for Him and follow the vision given by faith.
     

    Today we can see the blessings and what the Lord is doing in the Hispanic Department of QCAC. Souls have given their lives to Christ; people have consecrated their faith in Him. More and new activities have been incorporated in an effort to supply the needs of every individual Many others have had the opportunity of receiving the message of salvation. However, the task is still extensive. We are praying for the entire Hispanic community of Flushing and neighboring areas. It is our prayer, goal, and desire that Matthew 28:19 be a reality at QCAC: that the Gospel be preached in a simple and direct way to reach all people of different nationalities, cultures and languages. We do not have to go very far, but we need many hands to help us carry on the net and bring it before Jesus. We need your supportive prayers. May God bless and keep you.
